Home Sweet Home? Performances on Saturday 18 October 2025

As members of Wimborne Community Theatre prepare for our next major production on the theme of HOME in September 2026, we shared our progress in an afternoon of theatre, songs and community conversations.

A short taster entitled Home, Sweet Home?  was performed  three times on Wimborne’s Minster Green on October 18th 2025.   WCT actors and singers from the Jubilate Choir set the scene as we explored why certain objects connect us with our memories of home.  However, while many of us feel warmth and nostalgia, this is not true for everyone.

The performance was based on ideas gathered by local people in response to the question “What does HOME, mean to you?”
There was also an opportunity for people to contribute to the final production by sharing their own stories about HOME, focusing on our lives, homes and town
