Our Rivers Run Through Us • A 3-year project (2019)

Our Rivers Run Through Us was a project in two parts, based on over two-year’s research and the development of ideas by WCT members relating to a sense of what it means to live near rivers, and the importance of the river ecology in our lives.

In 2019, WCT members began researching ideas for this project, focusing attention on the Wimborne rivers Allen and Stour.

During the pandemic lockdowns in 2020, WCT members made videos and wrote poems about living near the rivers.  Students from Allenbourn School and local people shared memories and thoughts. To read more about the two projects, use the links below.
