Hiroshima Dispersed

WCT has been invited by London Bubble to participate in Hiroshima Dispersed, by joining groups from Palestine, the Philippines, India (tbc), Belgium and South Africa, on August 6, in the reading of a play currently being written by Misaki Setoyama. Hiroshima Dispersed is part of an oral history and performance project, The Grandchildren of Hiroshima, being developed by London Bubble in a creative partnership with the Hiroshima Peace Museum and theatres in Japan, and the play will be performed by an intergenerational cast in Hiroshima and Tokyo during August.   Read more here More information to follow about the time and location for WCT’s reading in Wimborne. WCT's connection with London Bubble goes back to 2010 when WCT began working with the company’s artistic director, Jonathan Petherbridge.  Jonathan facilitated workshops over nearly two years to devising ‘The Great Rinsing’ (2011) which Jonathan wrote and directed.
