“Ways of Seeing” on March 10 and 11 at the Museum of East Dorset

Friday, March 10 at 7.30 pm Saturday, March 11 at 2.30 pm & 7.30 pm What do you see when you enter a museum?  But what don’t you see and whose voices might you hear?  View the poster for details Ways of Seeing is a joint production by Wimborne Community Theatre and Millstream Theatre to commemorate the opening of the Museum of East Dorset.  The production imagines the stories behind two of the Museum’s objects: the fragmented Roman fresco from the excavated Tarrant Hinton villa, depicting the myth of Narcissus and Echo, and Jimmy James’ camera in his Eastbrook Photographic Studio which he used to capture images of Wimborne residents and visitors. WCT is pleased to welcome local director and writer, Rohan Gotobed, as guest director for the show. He will work with Millstream’s directors, Tony Horitz and Tam Gilbert.
